Texans 2024

I know. That’s why I was so surprised.

That’s a game the Texans should have won going away.

100% on Slowik being a fucking football moron.

Who the hell is the Rockets coach? Is he a fucking idiot, too? Might as well go for the trifecta.

Ah, right, it’s that guy from Boston. No, sadly, he is not an idiot.

This has become painfully obvious. They have Super Bowl talent and first draft pick coaching.

He’s good. This is assuming he can keep his dick in his pants.

They don’t have Super Bowl talent, not even close. Ryans does have some learning to do, but he’s maximized a team with average talent.

The defense played great today so maybe that’s a silver lining with respect to Demeco. Slowik on the other hand is a total disaster, and he has been for two years. He has no higher ceiling. The offense will swim upstream as long as he’s in charge and it’s sad to watch. It’s the total inverse of the Kubiak years when Schaub was good.

He’s minimized the talent they have. There is no reason this game should have even been close, let alone a loss. There is no reason the Bills game should have been close. They underwhelm at every phase of the game not called “C.J. Stroud”. Ryans gets absolutely abused at halftime, every single game. They are undisciplined. He makes stupid in game calls. To suggest he’s somehow out coached his level of talent is ridiculous.

I wouldn’t say the Packers are inferior to the Texans on offense without Nico Collins. They have four good wide receivers, Tucker Kraft is better than Dalton Schultz and Josh Jacobs is as good as Joe Mixon. The Packers have a solid offensive line and Jordan Love is also a good QB, like Stroud.

Who said they are inferior?

You said this game shouldn’t have been close. I disagree. The Packers are in the same talent range as the Texans.

With the way the defense played and getting three turnovers in the red zone, yeah this should have been a comfortable win. I never said the Packers were inferior.

That’s a fair assessment.

Well, his idiot behavior in Boston got him fired. But he can coach.

Just saw that the Texans had 11 missed tackles today, 3rd most in the NFL in the past 24 years.

He’s good but the Rockets failed the tank. They ended up building the Astros but in a sport where assembling a small army of very good to excellent but not generational players won’t actually work. They did not hit on any true superstars with their big picks so now they’re screwed.

There were not any “generational players” they had the chance to draft. They have 7 or so very talented youngsters who need to grow up

Tackling was a problem today.
