Say the Texans score a TD, but there’s too much time on the clock still, could they “go for 2” but simply snap the ball and then run around Benny Hill style until time expires?
No, clock is stopped on all those plays.

If they can cut down on penalties in any significant way that would be absolutely enormous. They need more talent to be a Super Bowl contender, but if they quite doing stupid shit they can make games against really good teams actual contests. Mixon being out made a noticeable difference.
