I question whether a competent OC would want to come to this org.
He was the QB coach, iirc, in San Fran with Demeco. He’s not a nobody.
eta: Offensive Passing Game Coordinator
That wasn’t a disaster. The Ravens are a very good team, so it wasn’t really a winnable game, but there were a few bright moments. Stroud settled down. Defense didn’t give up 300 yards on the ground. Build on it.
They can’t fix the talent level during the season, but they can sure as hell play a more mistake free game, on both the field and sideline. I think they beat the Colts next week.
Let’s not get crazy
I’m riding a sports high since yesterday…let it fly
Also, Indy fucking sucks as much as we do.
According to Scorigami on TwitX…25-9 is the 1076th unique final score (never happened before) in NFL history

Jalen Pitre was taken to a local hospital after suffering a bruised lung when Lamar Jackson’s knee hit his chest during today’s loss to the Ravens, per sources. The good news is Pitre should be OK, though he may stay overnight for observation.
That’s scary. When it happened I figured he had the wind knocked out of him. Much more serious. Hopefully he’ll be fine.
The 25-9 final score was a scoregami.
Not immediately related to the Texans, but man I love a good field mic pick up:
Texans are starting (checks notes) 5 backup OL and 2 backup safeties, plus a QB with a sore shoulder. Should be fun!
Thus far the results are not discernibly different from any previous personnel grouping.
Great to see Metchie on the field
I like CJ Stroud a lot
I like some things, but holy shit, I had no idea he was so immobile. For whatever reason, he cannot or will not use his legs to pick up yards, even when they’re easy for the taking. But he made some nice throws today.
I thought Nico Collins had a really good game today too. I’ve always thought he could be a good receiver, but he just was never open. Even when no one was covering him, he couldn’t get open. But he made some really nice catches today, as did Tank Dell, who is fun to watch. In fact, I think a couple of those sideline out routes to Dell were some of the best balls Stroud threw.
Stroud is not immobile.
Well, he doesn’t use his mobility. That’s what matters.
Sure he does, when he has time to.
You two will argue about whether the sun came up this am.
