So Demeco did not get schooled aft halftime today. They came out and put some pressure on Carr, and got the big stops when they absolutely had to. They benefited from the two missed field goals, or it’s a situation just like last week, but they got two critical fourth down stopes late, and that’s all that matters. They had a good game plan against Kamara, and that’s not easy to do.
Stroud was mediocre. He forced a few throws, including the pick, and held the ball way too long a couple of times that got him sacked, including a 12-yard one to start a drive late in the game. You just can’t take a sack there. But he bounced back from the pick, and threw two nice TD passes. He’s going to have some off days. Just gotta learn from them and move on.
Good win and encouraging signs headed to the bye.

Biggest takeaway was the halftime adjustments.
I still can’t get invested game-to-game, but the Titans absolutely deserve to get curbstomped today.

Texans manage to lead 7-6 at the half on missed PAT, but it’s been butt ugly.
They had the one good drive, but other than that they’ve been awful. I counted four first down plays that went for at least -5 yards.
I understand that you’ve got a rookie quarterback but let’s open the playbook up a little and at least try to mimic an NFL team.
Also, Pierce is criminally underused and Singletary is bizarrely overused. I mean, we just got rid of Dusty and now we have to put up with this shit.
I don’t understand Slowik’s obsession with running around the end. Yes, occasionally it’ll get five or six yards. But more often than not it loses five or six. And now it’s 2nd and 16. I don’t get it.
And now a turnover. Fucking hell.
