After four games, there’s one winless team in the NFL. McNair must be very proud of the organization he’s built.
That’s what happens when you mortgage the future to win absolutely nothing in the present.
You say that, like there was some kind of plan or blueprint or some thought process to guide their decision making.
There is, but it has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with football.
They mortgaged the future for spite, not wins.
Well, they at least have 2 first round picks this year, one of which will likely be top 5. Lots of highly rated QBs this year, so they can either grab one or cash their pick in in hopes of plugging more holes.
The early returns on the 2022 draft are encouraging. Hopefully that trend continues and they can fill some gaps quickly.
I was shocked to see four Texans in the All-Rookie team from The Athletic through four games:

They’ll be traded soon.
Sure, but the fact they might have gotten the picks right in the first place is unexpected.
All signs point to Caserio not being Bill O’Brien.
Christian Harris (3rd round, LB, Alabama) is returning to practice this week.
I was wondering about him, as all the picks around him have been contributors. I didn’t realize he was injured. Like a lot of other positions, they could use some help at LB.
Another guy who they had hoped would fill a much needed position (slot WR). Totally rooting for this kid.
Are we ready for some “football”?
They sure have a knack for hanging in games, even while looking bad.
Roll Tie Roll
Has any team ever tied twice in a season?
Not since OT was adopted in 1974
Seems like his knee was already down before the elbow, but I’m expecting the worst.
