Vazquez’s brain not firing on all cylinders tonight. Just burned our 2nd challenge.
Lambert gets the inning ending K anyway. 5-2 heading to the bottom of the 5th

Mike Scott looks good.
Because of some made up rivalry, it used to be a joke to hate these guys. But now I really do hate these scurvy ridden swabbies.
They were vastly more hateable when Servais was managing. Just looking at his face in the dugout gave me hate vibes. Don’t get me wrong, they’re still quite hateable.
I don’t know why, because he seems like he might actually be an ok guy, but Julio Rodriguez rubs me the wrong way. Maybe because I hold him responsible for their trident bullshit after homers (I have no idea if he’s actually responsible).
I think he is an underachiever. Or maybe he’s overrated.
I’m glad the Stros don’t do any of that dugout bullshit. Carlos Lee’s stick horse was enough.
Altuve with a 2 out single then steals 2nd(!), then steals 3rd (!!). Varsho walks and Walker grounds out on ball 4, 6 inches low, to end the threat.
On to the 6th
I didn’t care for Ashby as a broadcaster, I don’t know of anyone that did, but he was and is a Capital A Astro, and he seems like a thoroughly decent dude.
Sousa pitching: Cam has a hard hit liner bounce out of his glove for a 2B, Sousa has a chopper over his head bounce off the tip of his glove (Pena gets the out at 1B, runner to 3rd), Raleigh called out on strikes, Robles with the RBI single, K ends the inning.
5-3 mid 6
Smith-Vazquez-Pena go down meekly.
After a K, Arozarena (yeah, him again) with a 1 out single, promptly erased on a 6U-3 GIDP. Okert has been an unsung hero for the pen.
He is quite possibly an underrater.
Yordan lines a ball to CF but it’s caught (ho-hum 106mph 336 foot out), Paredes grounds out to 1B…
Trammell bunts foul, watches the next pitch, then calls for the trainer to look at his hand (pitch caught him on the left index finger), he stays in and watches strike 3
End 7, 5-3
Abreu coming in and he owes the M’s some payback. They’ve knocked him around pretty good recently
With Abreu a walk is a double.
1-run game now.
Oh goodie, more walks
Another walk. If Raleigh steals, I’m not sure what I’ll do.
Bunt single, as for some reason Abreu decides to lob it over underhand. Tying run at 2B
What in the fuck was that.
Why didn’t he kick it, have a little fun.
Fuck. Were tied
