Royals at Astros, 9-24-23

Finally, holy shit.

The Astros scored first! A sight for sore eyes.

Astros leave two in scoring position, but finally lead a game

1-0 after one.

And that lead didn’t last long. Not even one batter

And another hit.

Absolutely deathly allergic to leads

In the last six games, the Astros have not recorded an out when they’ve had a lead.

We’re going to tie you to a chair Clockwork Orange-style and make you watch Rangers replays all offseason.

And that’s the season

3-1 Royals, Astros Posteason hopes pretty much end.

Welp, time to draw the curtains on the summer house.

Down the stretch the Astros have been hands down the worst team in baseball.

Oh, please, was this not entirely predictable? It’s not like I spoke it into existence out of nowhere.

Hunter’s rookie season has turned out quite disappointing.

If only there had been a rule in baseball that allowed him to appear in games as a batter only, with another player manning left field.

Another 2-out hit

So we pretty much have to root for the Rangers today, huh? A fate worse than missing the postseason.

Kind of pointless now.

I was joking. It’s about all one can do at this point.

At this point, does it really matter? The Astros don’t deserve to be in the playoffs when you get swept by the Royals at home and go 1-7 against the two worst teams in baseball in September.
