New pitcher on for the Rockies with Brantley coming up
I love hits like that by Altuve.
He can be a maestro at times.
How was he at 3rd? Did you see any plays that might help see if he can handle it at MLB level?
I love Joseās power, but I also miss the guy that used to be the league leader in average. He shouldnāt be a .270 hitter.
He is ok at 3rd. I do not understand the question.
Lucas Gilbreath on for Colorado
Brantley
Lines out to LF. Inning over.
Sorry Jim
The big league club hasnāt put him at 3rd even with Bregman out and Robel not hitting at all
I was wondering if you noticed anything in his play at 3rd that stood out good or bad.
I agree.
But heās 4th in runs scored and just out of the top 10 in rbi (he has 66, thereās a multiplayer tie at 71 for the #10 spot).
Top 7 (Javier still pitching)
Diaz
Strikes out looking
No question, Altuveās having a great season and is still a great player. Heās just doing it differently now. He has a chance at a 100 RBI season from the leadoff spot.
Hilliard
Singles to left
He plays a decent 3B in AAA. A 3B has to have a strong chest and a good arm. It is not a tough position like SS is. Range to his left would be a plus. Jones would not be an every day player at 3B, and Diaz is better, but Jones is an ok backup.
He was in RR until Sun or Mon, and they need him at 1B. That is his best position.
Motter
Walks
Throw strikes, Javier.
Hello Motterā¦
Hello Fatterā¦
Here I am in,
Coloratter!
Hampson
Kās swinging on a nasty slider
Joe
Flies out to Tucker. Inning over
Good mound visit by Strom.
Still 5-0 good guys.
Makes sense especially with all the shifting.
Bottom 7 (Yency Almonte on for Colorado)
Diaz
Flies out to shallow left
Yordan
Walks.
