I will not start another game thread this season. Every time I have started one this year, the Astros have lost.

If we all stopped creating threads every time they lay a turd with some of the juicy morsels they’ve shit out recently, we’d have to shut down the GZ.

My (loosely-adhered) rules for game thread starting this season have been:

Never start the next game thread after your last one was a loss

If the last game was a win, use the same format (team names, @ vs at, date format)
Baseball will sure as hell make you superstitious, if you weren’t already
eta: after the season I might get stupid enough to calculate what “my” record was

So when I turned things on this afternoon I noticed that there was a little blue dot next to the MLB app, meaning it had been updated. And lo and behold! It’s showing the proper games and scores for today. We’ll see if this just an accident or if they actually fixed the problem.
I’m just now able to tune in today and I’m waiting for my Apple TV to restart because it’s showing yesterday’s game as today….
