The Rockets are either the second- or third-best team in the NBA.
That will be a nice consolation prize.
Kind of like several years in the Harden era. They were the second best team in the league, but unfortunately played in the same conference with the Warriors.

Yeah the championship round was played in the Bay Area and Houston.
I try not to think about the lost opportunity.

I’m gonna start getting bitter again.
But there were titles to be won if a certain scoring leader didn’t fade in late rounds.
I remember a particularly bad elimination game where Trevor Ariza just shit the bed. I’m not bitter, but don’t like reminiscing over it either.
I do have fonder memories of the McGrady era.
I know he’s in the Hall of Fame, but I still feel he was underrated.
