RIP Toy Cannon

What a lousy month.

So sad to hear this news. He was my first favorite ball player growing up.

Sad day for Astros fans.

I first heard of him when my dad pointed out the seat in the upper deck with the cannon painted on it.

He was a Willie Mays starter kit. The Dome really held him back…maybe from being a HOFer?

Anyone know a comparo between his road and home stats? Highly underrated during his career. RIP

Damn it. A good man. RIP

On the surface, his home/road stats were about even. He was a slightly better hitter at home throughout his career, as most are. A few more HRs on the road, a few more doubles at home. No glaring difference.
