I’m usually a pretty stoic sports watcher. Most of the time the most I’ll do is a fist pump or a single clap. In 2017 I just put my face into the bed and cried tears of joy.
When Yordan connects on that poor baseball… I lept to my feet screaming “GO BALL!” I ran to the other side of the room clapping and scaring the shit out of my dogs. I could not contain myself. What a moment.

I loved that moment in the postgame festivities when a reporter asked Dusty when it hit him they were going to win the WS: “oh it hit me when Yordan hit that ball over the moon in center.”

Mark and I went crazy like everyone else there did. After a beat or two, I said “Holy shit, Mark. Did that go over the Batters’ Eye?”

Off Pena’s helmet, go straight up the aisle he’s lined up with. There’s a beer vendor with his back to the shot on the left side of the aisle, pops and I are a tick up and to the right sitting on the aisle across from the beer vendor.
