Seattle beats Oakland in 10. In spite of the injuries and awful relief pitching, Astros are a half game out of first place.

Both A’s and Astros have won 4 of their last 10 games = no separation. The A’s are in a L3 streak, while the good guys are on a 2W streak.
Urquidy gave 6 strong innings w/ only 3 hits (1 solo HR) w/ 1BB & 9 K’s.
Rookie relievers finished the last 3 innings:
- Paredes - a perfect 7th w/ 3 K’s;
- Rodriguez - gave up two hits (one solo HR) in the 8th and had a perfect 9th
- At the beginning of the 2021 season, this pair had a combined 29.1 ML innings- Paredes, 20.2 innings & Rodriguez, 8.2!!!
