Rubber match. JV back on the bump.

I may have to go find a bar to watch this one.

I will have it on the tube while in a series of conference calls. I hope I can remain focused and present. I’ll let y’all come to your own conclusions about what…

Bregman is today’s DH. But he’ll lead off because why not rest Altuve?

How hard is it for Joe Espada to put Altuve, Bregman, Alvarez and Diaz in the same lineup?

Red Sox already abusing the Astros outfield arms

This is the worst throwing outfield I think I’ve ever seen in the Major Leagues.

Is there anything at this stage of a player’s life/career that can be done to strengthen a throwing arm?

Bregxit!!

Not really. Not much anyway.

Next June 22nd will mark one year since Alvarez hit a home run at home.

Pay. The. Man.

Diaz continues to be hot

Young Beltran & Terry Puhl. Two past Astro outfielders that had good arms.

Richard Hidalgo

Pena caught stealing to end the inning.

End of one…1-1

Well, yeah, he was mentioned on that other thread where we talked about outfield arms. I don’t think young Beltran or Puhl were. Just adding them to the mix.

Springer had a good arm, too.

My bad, I guess I missed that thread. He’s just always the first that comes to mind for me

I think Hudson spot on, this current crop is the poorest group of outfield arms ever. Every other combo I’ve thought of had at least one good arm. Not saying Tucker or Alverez aren’t competent but neither is outstanding. Cabbage it appears, actually seems to have a decent arm.

I think Tucker’s arm is pretty good. Yordan’s is better than people realize. But Tucker may never play again, and Yordan only gets the occasional spot start, it appears. The rest of the crew, minus Cabbage, is pretty damn weak.
