I understand why Yordan watched strike one, but what exactly was wrong with strike two? I realize that he may have been sitting fastball, but that’s the direction you should be able to adjust (going down to the slow curve). He can’t believe he’s going to see a better pitch with two strikes, can he? Because he certainly didn’t.
T4:
Franco grounds into 4-6 FC, Correa does not attempt a relay, unclear why.
T4:
Franco to 2B on a wild pitch
TK bragging about Lance’s control, and Lance promptly misses the target by four feet, and then follows that up with a yank in the dirt.
Astros challenging tag play at 2B…looks close…looks like he’s out, but you never know…overturned! Score it 2-4 caught stealing to end the inning.
No score.
Wake the fuck up, Astros’ offense.
Man, it would be so nice to score at least one run.
B4:
Gurriel singles to LF
It seems like the Astros have been feast or famine for a few years, but this year seems extreme.
It’s maddening.
B4:
Tucker…quickly down 0-2…1-2…2-2…foul…foul…3-2…walks, Gurriel to 2B
Good AB by Tucker.
2 on. Let’s get this RISP home this time.
Correa!!!
PAY THAT MAN HIS MONEY
Correa!
B4:
Correa!!!
3-run bomb to LF…Gurriel scores, Tucker scores
YeHaw!!! Carlos!!! Correa!!!
Boy, that was a huge mistake by Yarbrough. I don’t know why they came in there after making him look so foolish down and out.
