Correa

Grounds out 1-6 on a weak swing at junk off the plate. They rule Franco lost the ball on the exchange, no challenge by the Astros.

That wasn’t even fucking close to losing it on the exchange. Fucking awful, and I’m sure not reviewable.

Huh.

Thoughts on that transfer call?

I’m pretty sure it’s not reviewable.

Tucker

Flies out to center

Tucker and Alvarez: How about you crush those breaking pitches in your happy zone next time?

Correa, too. Those all should have been punished.

It’s not. And they loosened the rules on that a few years ago on the transfer. It’s almost possible for it not to be a catch now.

Top 6

Margot

Walks

Rasmussen has never gone more than 5 innings.

I’m sure there’s polling on that.

Kiermaier

Strikes out

Phillips

Grounds into a 4-6-3 DP

He was a reliever in Milwaukee before being acquired in the Adames trade by the Rays. He’s not going to see a third time through the order any time soon.
