That’s a start. But unions do listen to people. Not corporations or owners/executives from the organization that employs the people they represent, but people.
This dude should not have a job in any sport. Ever.
Not trying to belabor the point, but the fact that Angel Hernandez still has a job leads me to believe that the Umpire Union is quite strong. That’s how it works. Sometimes, it prevents management from being shitheads. And other times it keeps shitheads in their jobs.
I don’t see a scenario where his colleagues are actively supporting him and that’s the only reason he’s still here.
