Andrus F8

White 6-3

Taveras (cousin of former Astros great Willy) walks on 4 pitches

Kiner-Falefa takes a strike, takes a high FB 1-1, takes a strike 1-2, grounds out 8-4

Astros win 8-4

Another nice outing from Grienke. Big hits from Diaz, Machete, Uncle Mike.

We’ll see what happens with Altuve.

Honest question about ATT NOW, does it give you access to the regional sports networks streaming as well, or just the physical channel?

The Root Sports or whatever streaming app is actually super reliable the times I’ve used it.

Grienke is now 11-1 with a 2.98 era, 0.88 WHIP and 16/90 BB/K in 108.2 IP over 18 starts as an Astro.

I don’t think people realize quite how good he’s been since being acquired.

Just channel. Need a cable or satellite subscription to stream from ATT Sportsnet’s website. At least that was the case a month ago when I started this process. Hopefully it’s changed or will soon. They still get their pound of flesh from me, so I’m not sure why they won’t let me stream.

If you have the channel on your cable or satellite package, you can stream ATTSports online. You want to just stream without paying for the channel on cable or satellite? I don’t think that’s going to happen.

Agree 100%. I’ve been wondering the same thing all year. The focus has been almost entirely on Springer, for more money and more time. I like Brantley on a more affordable 2-3 year deal.

I’d settle for Yuli and Brantley.

I pay like 40% extra for Sportsnet to be on my ATT TV Now streaming service. The channel obviously receives a fee for me watching it. No different than when I subscribed to the channel via cable or satellite.

So you pay extra to stream it, but they still won’t let you stream it?

Pretty wacky.

Well that’s no kinda deal.

So I’m genuinely curious…what’s the point of paying the extra 40%? Why don’t you just stop paying for something that you’re not getting? There must be some method to your madness here.

I pay the extra so I can watch the Astros (via streaming) on the ATT TV Now streaming service, which I access on my TVs through Apple TV or Amazon Fire Stick. They have two tiers and the more expensive one carries local RSNs.

The ATT TV Now platform absolutely sucks and is constantly failing to load, or will suddenly in the middle of an at bat say ā€œunauthorized contentā€ or ā€œyou are not connected to the internetā€ (which isn’t true).

I’d like to be able to stream it via Sportsnet’s website which is more reliable, but Sportsnet’s website will only let people who subscribe to the channel through cable or satellite to stream it there. People who subscribe to the channel through AT&T Now or Fubo aren’t given access, despite the fact that they do pay to stream the content through those apps.

Basically I cut my TV viewing bill in half and can still watch the Astros but it is more frustrating now.

So… I think I understand. You can stream, but only through AT&T Now, not through the AT&T SportsNet app. As a DirecTV subscriber, I can stream most channels except SportsNet. I can only stream that through the AT&T SportsNet app.

Sounds right and seems wrong.

It sure didn’t seem like it at the time to me. Always thought Maldanado was destined as a part-time guy.
Another reason why I’m not in charge.
