It’s a very short list. The only other regular (or offensive player) to exceed expectations is Maldonado. Even Straw, Toro, Mayfield, Garneau, fell short of minimal hopes.
Don’t know what Tucker was looking for, but apparently it wasn’t 2 fastballs over the plate.
Agree re Machete, David. I have always liked him.
I’ve seen no regression in Brantley.
Nice inning for Framber.
True. I said exceed. Brantley has been solid. Would be happy to see him back on a two year deal.
I know this will be controversial, but I’ll own it:
I really, really can’t stand Odor.
Total workhorse. Hard to think what C position would have looked like in a 162 game season. Next year? Who knows.
Odor sucks. There, I said it.
I ordered some more runs for the Astros.
Hopefully they’ll be delivered soon.
Take a look, Dusty
Dusty only likes challenging things where he’s obviously wrong.
Shipping delay
We’ve had an opposing pitcher w an ERA over 6.00 and almost 8.00 and have scored two runs in 15 innings with our “A lineup.”
Tucker’s HR will have to be enough, it appears.
Our offense not hitting is a mystery. Best team in baseball for years. Historically good last year. I blame Taubman and the bad karma he caused.
Nothing else makes any sense. Let’s go with it.
Blame it on Cain.
Blame it on the boogie.
Josh James is basically the definition of the Astros this year.
Inconsistent, frustrating, and generally not fun to watch.
