Suck it, arlington mouth-breathers.

Bases drunk for McCormick

Chas misses a FB, ball in the dirt 1-1, fouls a FB on the corner, takes a WP, Straw scores the game winner!!!

Astros win 4-3

Sweet! Going faster miles an hour!

Not sure what Martin was doing…wasn’t interested in cover the plate.

All the pitchers deserve a big fist bump.
Javier, Stanek, Pressly, Abreu, and Raley.

Some made their own messes, but they responded.

That’s the truth, bud.
They kept it winnable.

Castro may not have a better night at the plate this season.

That’s not en vogue this season

I hate the extra inning rule but that inning, a leadoff sac bunt, intentional walk, strikeout, intentional walk, walk off wild pitch. Hilarious

Not suggesting it was some kind of master plan, but Straw’s failure to drive in the winning run in the 10th (with some “help”) put him in position to score it on a WP in the 11th.

The same stupid rule or to Alvarez being lifted for Chas, which then let Arlington not pitch to Bregman.

Pretty awesome to get the bat taken out of your stars hands, eh MLB?

Why did the guy Abreu wild pitched to 3rd not score while the Astros were turning the DP on Davis?

Ball was hit right to Bregman who was playing in

Ok, the rule everywhere for the runner at third, on first and third and less than two outs, is to go on a ground ball so the defense will not get a DP. Sounds like he froze instead of running, and the worst case scenario happened.

He would have been out by a country mile if he went, which admittedly would have been better for them than a dp but I’m still surprised it ended up a double play instead of a fc

The rule I cited knows he likely will be out, but the purpose is to stay out of a DP.

Yes, I think the runner should have broke for home (broken? braked?) and forced a rundown.

Agreed. The last thing you ever do in that situation is stand on 3B and watch a double play. But that’s exactly what he did.

That is the universal rule for that situation-go and force a throw home to stay out of the DP.

Not only did he not break for home, he went back to the bag at 3B and barely avoided a tag and triple play. Just a clusterfuck of base running
