Rangers @ Astros, August 10, 2022

That inning was on Maton. He couldn’t locate to save his life.

Pena is the silent killer. We’ve gone from ‘is this guy the next Correa?’ to ‘is he even a good Major League player?’

Speak for yourself.

Oh bullshit.

Plus with a loss tonight, a 12 game lead over the WC teams and 11 over the division with 50 games to go. Even going 20-30 which would be horrific for this team, the Mariners would need to go 32-18. Sure the Mariners could go 32-18 but the Astros winning 40% of their games the rest if the way seems like a stretch

Balk/ single.

8-4

He has adequate personnel around him so that he needs to be solid, which he is. The real problems have been documented ad nauseum on this site. Everyone knows it

That, and the Blue Jays, Rays and Orioles will be playing each other, too.

He’s been bad lately, but come on

Exactly, in order to miss entirely you need be saying the Astros will collapse AND 4 different teams will play like a 105 win team at the same time

Not that big of a stretch. He’s barely hitting .200 since he came off the IL in late June.

Sometimes rookies struggle

Let’s see if Chas brought out the wet noodle

Ok. We need a pair of 2 run homers to tie…

Ouch

Drive it to right Chas

HPU ready to go home.

Chas has to protect there, can’t trust ump to make the right call

Bad loss.

Reasons well documented above.

Thank god it’s over.
