Punishments are official

This.

Hinch, a company guy to the end. It was his undoing.

Grandal may have said today that LAD players used video to steal signs when he was there.

Meanwhile:

MLB has unleashed a whirlwind.

He doesn’t want to talk about it now so he isn’t a “distraction” and wants to “focus on baseball”

Little late for that now Mike. You already let the cat out of the bag and it’s not going back in

I didn’t think this worthy of it’s own thread, but it seems to fit in with this thread so I am posting here. My facebook* targeted advertising now includes the Law Offices of Hilliard Martinez Gonzales offering their services in the hope to solicit clients who were Houston Astros season ticket holders for the 2017 and 2018 seasons (strangely, they offer no service for single ticket buyers). No matter that I live in North Carolina and get mlb.tv and would never even consider participating in this charade even if I was a season ticket holder. The claim “compensation is possible”, but only for season ticket holders. I am not a lawyer…and I know there are a lot of very smart ones on this message board. But I find this ridiculous…I guess they are going to go after the Astros for fraud, possibly in civil court? I am so ready for a F&$& you season by the Astros. I really hope Whitley is ready by mid season. And that Bregman will embrace the villain role as much as I think he would love that role. I think (hope) he will thrive in that role.

  • Disclaimer, I hate facebook, I only use it for people I have to communicate with for my side hustle.

Fuck Mike Fiers.

Indeed. Fuck Mike Fiers. Fuck that Facebook ad and whoever posted it.

Fiers forever cheapened in the eyes of many a championship he helped to win. He betrayed his teammates but did not have the guts to do it while he was still an Astro. Fuck him.

What a not-at-all subtle identification of the Giants.

He had the perfect offramp when the news about the Red Sox and Yankees spying broke. He could have contacted MLB anonymously or through his agent/attorney, the Astros would have gotten their slap on the wrist and the whole thing would have been shut down with no harm to himself or anybody else.

One of their listed practice areas on their website is “Proving Innocence”

Ambulance chasers

Interesting if true

There has been smoke around the Dodgers and stealing signs for some time now.

I love it. Stuff like this is going to pop up more and more.

But I’ll bet nobody else loses their GM, manager, and draft picks because of it.

Maybe, but I don’t think this continual drip of league wide evidence is going along with the Commish’s plan of a quick hammer and sweep away job.

Exactly. That is why I love it.
