Punishments are official

The PBS segment with Jeff Passon, who reports some within Manfred’s inner circle want the title revoked

Who the hell is Manfred’s inner circle?

Don’t know, Passan just drops it in at 4:20 in the link. It gives life to the teams denied the prize. If we don’t have you, no one will.

Imagine the Pandora’s Box of flying feces that vacating the title will cause.

The owners that tell him what to do. NY, Boston.

I would never watch or listen to another MLB game again. Minor leagues included as they are affiliated with MLB.

Manfred has already ruled that out, or at least that is his view at that time. The analogy with Bonds is not equivalent, and should be viewed differently. Should Manfred reverse himself, it can only be considered as a concession to the three major media markets we defeated en route to the championship.

I just don’t give a damn what they do. Fuck 'em, nothing is going to ever change the wonder and joy I felt after the Astros won it on November 1, 2017. I’m sorry and can’t go back in time and take back my joy. I can’t unsmoke my victory cigar and I can’t undrink the whiskey. Champagne doesn’t go back in a bottle. I do not care what the bitter losers think. I don’t care about pleasing them, I only want to kick their asses on the scoreboard. I don’t watch baseball, I watch the Astros. Fuck all of THEM!

Well, I guess still want the non-Astros on my fantasy baseball team to do well but otherwise fuck their teams and everyone else.

I’ve never wanted a sports team to show up and kick everyone’s ass more that I want this year’s Astros team to.

That’s a little scarier than a trash can. (Rifle).

I assumed it was just the scope. Even during that period, I doubt that an actual rifle would have been allowed on the grounds.

All Astro regulars on bench for opening game; Straw, Mayfield, Stubbs, and Toro are starting.

No smoking gun here, but Rangers have been “mostly” silent. This was early last season. No way, Woodward gives these quotes today.

Again…stealing signs is not against the rules. It’s the WAY the Astros did it that got them in trouble.

Absolutely. Just saying managers would be “uber” careful about any conversations today regarding sign stealing they were involved with in the past. Except for Dodgers and Yankees who get a free pass. And of course all other MLB players.

I think most have been pretty candid that they look for tells and tendencies. That’s good baseball, and I think players have gone out of their way to make that distinction. But you’re probably right, most would avoid the subject altogether right now.

Correct, but this basic fact is ignored or unknown by the idiots who vilify the Astros. To most, sign stealing=cheating, and that is so wrong.

Funniest thing EVER for those with Twitter.
