The Padres are going to fuck around and lose this game. The Dodgers are the one team in the NL that can make me pull for the Mets.

I think I would hate that only slightly less than an all New York series. My hopes are all dependent on either Detroit or Cleveland rising above and smiting down the Yankees.

I don’t think Detroit has the pitching to survive a 7-game series against the Yankees. Ironically, I think they have a good chance today because Skubal is that good.
