Guys like JJ and Julks (and there’s always others around MLB) who have great success in AAA but are pretty blocked at MLB…they’re available to all these shit teams, and I can’t understand why a Rockies or a KC or and A’s wouldn’t just take a chance and give the guy a couple of hundred ABs…worst case scenerio you cut them, best case scenerio you get to keep them or trade them at the deadline
I was surprised that no one took a flyer on JJ. But I did not fail to notice that no one did.
But, as you point out, there are quite a few guys like him hanging around in triple A.
