Never heard of it. The “pitcher” is like a human tee.
Ronaldo has been available on a free transfer since summer? Gee, I wonder why there’s been no interest.
Fulham are up to 7th in the league. I am loving it.
I started following soccer after Fulhams run to the Europa League final in 10/11 and fell in love with Fulhamerica because they employed multiple Americans. Most especially my favorite player and someone who grew up not far from me, Clint Dempsey.
The first few years were a slide from top half club who could maybe challenge for Europe, to bottom half club and quickly, a relegated club, in 13/14. I continued to follow as the club nearly got back to back relegations, a la Sunderland a few years later, but they managed to hold on and survive the Championship in 14/15. A few manager sackings and mediocrity later, we had heartbreak in the playoffs in 16/17 before getting through those playoffs winning at Wembly with 10 men in 17/18, against Villa I may add. What a wonderful feeling that was, back in the Prem I’d be able to actually watch every match now.
It wasn’t to last, an absolute miserable season followed and relegation was pretty much gauranteed from the word go. Fulham got back off the mat and through the Covid summer once again got into the playoff final, this time against rival Brentford, who’s stadium is like 10 miles from Cravens Cottage. Fulham beat Brentford even though no one was there to see it, I watched, I celebrated, I filled with dred.
Fulham looked promising at times in 20/21, had a fairly long unbeaten run and even defeated Liverpool, but the run was almost all draws and Fulham just couldn’t score goals. Another relegation.
21/22 saw Marco Silva come in to manage and with him a new philosophy, he brought swagger to Fulham and a tactical knowhow that no Fulham manager has really had before, maybe you could say Slavisa Jokanovic, manager from 16-18(sacked after 10 Premier League games) but Silva is a vast step up. Silva coming in convinced Mitrovic to stay and Mitro scored 45 goals in the Championship last season. This time Fulham didn’t need the playoffs, they won the league and it never felt close.
Fulham has been a roller-coaster my whole time following, 2 relegations, 3 promotions, in just the last 5 years. Now we find ourselves 7th. I’m not naive enough to think Fulham have any chance of staying there, but 9 points above the relegation zone makes me feel like, finally, Fulham have a team that will stay up and can actually build on. I love this club, much as it often hurts me.
Sorry for the fucking book. It’s been a hell of a journey with this club and it’s only been 10ish years. Come on you whites!
Same old Spurs.
Tell me you’ve never seen an F1 race without telling me you’ve never seen an F1 race.
Or any auto race.
Or any race.
Or any event involving humans.
Max Verstappen es muy macho.
The Rockets traded Harden to the Nets for a ton of first round picks that everyone assumed would be worth very little because the Nets were positioned to win with KD, Kyrie, and Harden. Since then, the Nets have:
Traded Harden for a player now apparently scared to death of shooting
Dealt with a trade demand by KD
Denounced antisemitic tweets by Kyrie, but not actually done anything about them
Fired their coach
Hired a coach currently suspended for sexual improprieties
The Rockets may suddenly be very, very well positioned for the future.
Nets are trying to out Knicks the Knicks at being a shitshow.
Especially if the Rockets bring back the ketchup and mustard unis.
You forgot “Kyrie flat earth antivaxx antisemite just did a press conference that made it all sound so much worse”.
I am enjoying the shitshow. I am enjoying the Rockets tankathon without watching. There’s a unicorn freakish player, and a 2nd great one, at the top of the draft next year.
The Rockets will somehow beat the odds and pick 3rd.
San Antonio Spurs are being sued by an ex team psychologist who got tired of having recently cut ex-Spur, Josh Primo, show her his cock. Guess who her her lawyer is?
She’s a keeper.
Funny because it’s true, especially if you e ever spent any time in Aussie.

Soccer can be such a cruel game. Fulham nearly get a point at Manchester City but are denied by a very late penalty, soft penalty but a penalty none the less, and then Leno almost saves Haalands shot from the spot
USA plays Kenya in the first leg of last ditch qualifying leg for RWC 2023. So, that’s the other sporting event I’ll be trying to keep an eye on today.
Apparently this was for charity. It goes hilariously, horribly wrong. Shockingly quickly.
Lightweights.
What in the hell? That’s awful. On multiple fronts.
