Couldn’t land the slider, pitching is fucking hard when you only have one pitch. He finally threw a couple of good sliders to Soto but that was tough to watch

I know it’ll be magnified because it’s opening day and because of last year, but I’m not worried about Hader and Abreu. The Mets put up some great ABs against Abreu where he could easily have gotten some swing and miss, also struck out Alonso but didn’t get the call. Hader couldn’t land his slider, that just happens some times. Seeing eye single, bloop single. I think they will be fine.

It’s really quite bad.
Well, I guess we can rule out it being your sixer.
Yuengling is ok. It’s a Pittsburgh brew, I believe, but they have a brewery in Tampa. It’s far from terrible.

I doubt any yinzers in Pittsburgh would be caught dead drinking Yuengling. Much more of a Philadelphia and southeastern Pennsylvania beer.

So far after 1 they don’t strike me as a bad beer. It’s no Coors Banquet though.
I know I’ve had one or three before but it’s been a while.
Drank the hell out of them in college. Not because of quality. Mostly because they were widely available and I had a heap of friends from in and around Philly.
