The only issue I had with it was that Dubon was watching right field until about half way down the line and then realized that he’d better put his head down and give it everything he had. Maybe if he’d done that as he rounded the bag he would have been safe.

The other angle of the play supports a safe call but too close to reverse. It was a must send.

My only gripe was that there was one out and the heart of the order up. Conventional wisdom says play for the tie at home, though we've seen that not play out so well for this team the past few years (i.e., extra innings).

In the end it's probably a 50/50 proposition and the. bigger issue, as multiple have pointed out, is 8 walks.
