Just got back from National Record Store Day. Snagged three:
Bill Evans : Further Ahead, Live in Finland 1964-1969
Mulligan Meets Monk (Thelonious Monk, Gerry Mulligan, Wilbur Ware, and Shadow Wilson)
Hindu Love Gods
They had a new 4-record box set from Warren Zevon, but it was a little pricey. I may reconsider, if the price comes down a bit.
Sorry late.
Palumbo is still with them. The band was great, but he came across as very nonchalant, incessantly chewing gum and stroking his necklaceâŠ.I mean his guitar. They have very recent shows on YouTube, so you can see where they are at. Great show and very fun trip!
So after years of waffling, and trying to find a decent wood cabinet for my McIntosh MA6100, I finally found a guy to build me one. It arrived this weekend and I got the unit installed. It looks pretty good, if I do say so myself.
Not sure if there are any Propagandhi fans in here but their new album âAt Peaceâ is pretty incredible. Itâs like if Rush made a riff heavy thrashy punk album with biting social and political commentary with some poignant introspection. Highly recommend.
The official Mason-Dixon Line actually only separated Pennsylvania from Maryland. So the recording guide must be the unofficial Mason-Dixon Line that extended beyond the Ohio River all the way to the Kansas-Missouri border.
