I remember the movie Cocoon, Wilford Brimley was 51 at the time and was playing a guy, convincingly, in his late 70s right there along with Don Ameche and Hume Cronyn – guys who were in their 70s.
The Paul Simon album, Seven Psalms, is, honest to God, an old man’s album. Don’t trust anybody under 60.
