It’s the 2 strike cookies for me

I don’t know how many losses this season have come from blowing leads after the 7th inning, but it’s got to be 20 or 30. It’s stunning.

We literally should have 100 wins already

BregBomb!

Bregman home run. Possibly a little late.

Bregman solo HR. Still need 3 to tie.

Shoulda won this game.

I think that dude has earned himself a start, what do you think?

This game feels like Mariners fans felt last night. Crushing. Had a chance to go up by 8 games with 23 to play. Bullpen shits the bed.

Ballgame. 8-5

Wasted 4 hours on that abomination.

I got only a half ass nap out of that game.

And Thank God we saved Bregman for the 9th inning and didn’t get him 4-5 at bats.

Is Pressly okay? Hopefully it’s just a phase he’s going through and will get past it quickly.

Since becoming a closer he’s been pretty consistently poor in non-save situations, is my take.

I just don’t understand that phenomena of closers forgetting how to pitch in non-save situations but it seems like a real thing. Focus on pitching and not the score…

From what little I saw the manager doesn’t shoulder much blame for this one.

Bullpen turned a 2 run lead into a 4 run deficit.

If Pressly has his usual shutdown inning, Bergman’s homer wins it.

Urquidy going only 3 did not help the pen either.

Sparks was right on this one: if you have to run that many relievers out there, not all of them will be on their game on the same day.

Marmolejos is probably better than a .146 hitter. He averages close to .300 in the minors and was batting .360 recently in Tacoma. He is 28 years old but has less than 230 PAs at the MLB level.
