I remember when I was a kid the Astros televised games were only on Sundays or once or twice a year on the Saturday NBC Game of the Week. My brother shares his Peacock+ subscription with me. I watch it occasionally, mostly for the SNL archives but there are other attractions as well.

Apparently it’s bring your dog day to the park. I say they just call it now and let the dogs play around on the field for the afternoon.

This isn’t just a one weekend slump. This is a season long pattern.
We watch Project Runway on it. I think if you have T-Mobile you get a free subscription.
I can’t help but think the Astros are better than this and are underachieving but maybe not. Maybe they’re just an average team that has been overachieving most of the year.

The season long pattern is they have up and downs. They are on a down right now but that doesn’t have to last the rest of the season
The Astros are 70-54 (likely 70-55 after today) despite this being a season long pattern. They also are missing their best hitter this weekend.
They could miss the playoffs with how well the Mariners are playing and how good the Blue Jays are. But, it’s far too early to say they are dead in the water.

Who is the Mariners announcer with the accent? I haven’t heard his name and Google is no help.
They are what they are. Last year they were hands down the best team in the AL. This year, they’re the third best team in the AL West and maybe the seventh beast team in the league. They are squarely an average team. They just are.
