I didn’t think he was out of the baseline but I never saw a replay
The baseline is irrelevant, but he was three feet onto the grass. He slowed down, looked back to see where Walker was then moved six steps inside to block Walker’s throw. It was 100% intentional, as he was taught. Fielders are just going to have to do what they used to do when runners came in high in the double play.
