That may be true - my memories were from the late 80s/90s and I believe there were renovations done in 1987.

My memories from the ‘70s is that the upper level were all gold (maybe converted to rainbow in the ‘80s). We would buy gold seats and then work our way down to the mezzanine as the game went on. One of the advantages of sparsely-attended games.

Lots of intro re seat colors via Google

There may have been black, but if there were I don’t remember. I have a pair of the rare blue seats.

Mine are orange

ETA: I absolutely do not remember black seats in the outfield.

From 84 to around 88 my friend and I went to scores of games and sat in the Pavilion and for the life of me I can’t remember what the seats were like, but maybe they were a dark green that makes people think they were black?

My time out there was 68-70 or 71

I would pay a lot for an orange set. Every now and again I’ll search the web for some but there are never any of any color to be had.

Orange was the most common, I believe, followed by red, yellow, grey, then blue. Mine are in the garage, gathering dust. I really need to do something with them.

My daughter found them online years ago, and my then-GF gave them to me for Christmas. They have been in my garage since then, but Brenda and I put them on the front porch last week after a welder repaired my inadvertent attempt to destroy them.

They were definitely black seats in the pavilion.
Black plastic, non-padded seats.

You need to sell them to me…or trade them to me lol

I have stuff I really need to do stuff with as well just sitting in a room in my basement.

That’s one hell of a Christmas gift!

Yep, it was.

Yep, I made that discovery yesterday in my Google research. I sat out there a bunch when I was coaching in Brenham, and I have no recollection of them.

My orange seats are the guest chairs in my office. @ArkyVaughan scored them for me at either the first or second sale of seats. People love sitting in them.

Still need to hang my posters.

Man, mine are not nearly that nice. I really need to put more effort into getting them back into shape.

Mine are exactly like yours.

Maybe since these were from one of the earlier sales they were in better condition. I do remember Arky saying that he had all the seats he bought (his and mine) power washed. I haven’t done anything cosmetic to them since.

I have mine in my office as guest seats, as well – a great conversation piece.

Question: The back padding on mine is always sliding down; I regularly have to pull it back up into place. Does anyone else with these have that problem?
