Just to keep some facts straight on this tread of lunacy, you can indeed trade somebody who is on the IL. I’m pretty sure Alex Cobb was still on the IL when the Guardians traded for him. It is extremely rare though

I’ve just perused this thread and it seems the premise: Tucker is a shitty player that was pretending to be a very good player until he faked an injury and now nobody wants him, is unsupported by logic.
It may in fact be the stupidest thread in the thirty or so year history of this forum.

One thing keeps bothering me. What does who replaced his WAR mean? Does it mean who played in place of Kyle Tucker, and why, if he was so good, didn’t they lose instead of win?

That’s what dumb dumb is saying, yes. But dumb dumb is ignoring all the other factors, like Bregman turning his season around, and Hunter Brown going from the worst pitcher in baseball to pitching like an ace. Dumb dumb thinks the random assortment of outfielders that have played in Tuckers absence are the reason the Astros have been better. It’s a “take” that even Skip Bayless would be ashamed of.
