And you did all of that within the infrastructure that all of us paid for.
You’ve had yours, now you want to pull up the ladder.

I’d say I have worked hard and paid my fair share for everything and taxes. I’d say you are wrong just like Limey. You like free everything, huh?
So you’re trying to say everything should be free? I work over 40 hours a week, work for everything I have and pay taxes. Is that wrong?
Yes, you are completely wrong. Continuing a breathtakingly long streak in this thread.
Paying “your share” is exactly what your wailing against. You claim you’ve paid your way, not “your share”. So which is it: have you 1) paid for everyone on your own, or 2) relied on others paying as well, subsidizing your life, so you all could collectively benefit)? Simple question.
As for liking “everything free”, that’s just a strawman people like you use when you’re embarrassingly short on logic. No one has ever suggested anything is “free”.
“Hard work” is not measured by pay scales or the kinds of cars you have in your garage.
That’s your opinion and you are entitled to that. I have mine which is different from yours. There are probably over 50% of the United States population who will agree with me.
I’m wailing against most of the crap that Bernie wants to “give” people. There is nothing free. To answer your question, I have worked for and paid for everything that I own. I think it goes without saying that we do rely on taxes too. There comes a point to where taxes will become entirely too high. How is Bernie going to pay for everything he’s promising? Raising taxes.
My grandparents were farmers and some of the hardest working people I have ever known. Raising crops and cattle is hard work. Loading hundreds of bales of alfalfa hay is hard work. I can understand where you are coming from.
So to be clear, you claim that you alone paid for the University of Texas, all the infrastructure and the salaries of the personnel required to educate you. Duly noted.
Obviously that’s what I said. Wow. Read.
You could fill a library with every point of subtlety and nuance that you have missed in this thread.
So answer the fucking question then. Did you pay for it yourself or did you rely on others to subsidize it? It’s a simple question. Don’t continue to obfuscate out of embarrassment. Reach down and find a pair.
I paid for my education and everything I own myself. I earned the money. I paid for it. How hard is that to understand? I did not pay for the university of Texas. We all pay taxes and we all pay for things that our taxes go to.
It’s not hard to understand you’re a world class hypocrite. Back to Limey’s point…you’ve gladly taken from others now want to deny everyone else the same benefits.
How am I a hypocrite because I paid for college, earn my money, pay my bills and taxes?
Because you didn’t pay for it. You can keep bullshitting yourself into thinking you did, but the fact remains you could not have done it without others paying far more than you could ever imagine.
So I did not earn my money? I just get up at 6 and go to work because I think it is fun? Maybe I should just quit and sit at home all day then.
Are you always this obtuse?
I have no idea what you earned. I do know that you could not have possibly paid for your education yourself.
Me or you? I just find it incredible that you could say that I did not earn anything or pay for anything.
