Immaculate Grid - Spoilers & Boasts

I’m even more confused by your reply.

The average score refers to the number of correct squares, not rarity.

Got to use Todd Benzinger today, think I had about 40 of his rookie cards at one time. Was surprised he was a full 1%, was thinking hed be much more rare.

I used Bernie Carbo and figured he’d be next to 0%. Nope, he was 7% (6% now). Go figure.

I was mad at myself for using Erice Davis for Red/Dodger (7%), and thought of Kal Daniels as soon as I hit submit. I had a lot of late 80’s Reds rookie cards… well just went on another device, Kal was actually 2%, I thought he’d be lower.

Wait… I used Kal Daniels for that square (0.3%) and Tony Perez for Bos/Cin (4%).

0.3%
Kal Daniels
Kal Daniels

More people have picked him, he is now up to 2%

Ok, I had him as a Cub/Red, so that explains the difference. I used Frank Robinson as my Red/Dodger (2%).

Benzinger was a great pick! Forgot about him. I used Eric the Red on my first run and used Kal Daniel’s on my second.

I thought Pudge would be the leading selection for Stranger HOF but nope it was Nolan Ryan with almost 70%

I didn’t use Nolan out of principle

I used Luke Scott for one of the squares, figuring for sure he’d be 0.05% or so. Nope: 1%.

Josh Hamilton never played a game for Tampa Bay.

Brett Phillips played less than 10 for the O’s but he was 8% on the O’s/TB square. I was expecting less than 3%

As I’ve mentioned before, I love using St Louis Browns players for Orioles squares. Hall of Fame member Jim Bottomley checks in at 0.03%

I’ll take my 9/9s any way I can get them.

Diekman, Cruz, and Blum were my pointy fish.

Fergie Jenkins was my Arlington HoFer.

I’m sure a 6/9 or worse awaits me tmw. I’m looking at you, Miami.

Yep, I got nailed on that one too. I was even, wonder If I can think of someone more obscure. Crapsticks

Buddy Bell is always my go to Ranger GG

Used that racist POS Aubrey Huff, since I mentioned him in the other thread, thinking he might be a low number, nope 11%.

I always use Rafael Palmeiro because in 1999 he won the GG at 1B while only playing 28 games at 1B.

Josh Hamilton never played in the majors with the Rays?

ETA: damn, if only I’d read the thread first I would have had 9/9
