And Jake injured jogging out to CF and then removed from the game.
And can we just walk Ramirez from here on?
Seriously….? Jogging? What was he favoring?
Yes
I’m sure it was the calf. They tried the short rest and rub some dirt on it approach, same as they did with Parades, but now they need to IL the guy and let him get right. Gotta use the damn Allstar break days to their advantage as close as they are to it now IMO.
Hummel, Trammell, and Short have combined for 12 strike outs in the last 12 innings.
Looked like the calf. He was leaning on the trainer and limping on his way off the field. I won’t be surprised if he misses six weeks.
Yainer ABs rival those of the aforementioned trio.
Not a single pitch to him was a strike, strikes out on ball 6 (7 if you include the balk).
Popping into n here to say: Walter has done his job (well). It’s time for the bats to wake up and do theirs. That’s all.
Calf injury and he’s out running? Achilles injury territory.
I can’t believe this is the same team that curb-stomped the hated dojers, but then again, that lineup looks like a glorified AAA team right now.
Why are these guys even bringing their bats to the plate?
Geez. Can you put an 0-2 pitch somewhere other than right down the gut?
Sousa having some serious control issues here.
For show?
Single, single, double steal, walk, single and it’s 4-0
It feels like they’ve leaned on him pretty hard the last couple weeks. He may be a bit on the ragged edge.
Our pitchers have to be among the worst in the league at holding runners.
Good grief, Hummel is pointless.
Trammel (BB) and Dubon (DBL to LCF) get the inning started off right in the 8th. 4-1 Guardians. Hopefully we can keep it going. Shouldn’t see their top two relievers tonight as they already went three nights in a row after their appearances yesterday.
