Giants @ Astros, 5/1/2023

I looked earlier to give credit where it’s due…it’s Malachi Moore

After the shitty jobs we’ve seen recently, this is a refreshing change of pace.

Bottom 8th

Beck pitching

Maldonado - Ks swinging on slider low and outside
Dubon - grounds out 6-3.
Bregman - 5-3.

End 8 - Giants 3 Astros 7.

I’ve been thinking about submitting a compliment to this guy but I guess I didn’t want to jinx it. He’s missed a few, calls strikes a bit off the plate, more or less the same for both teams, and it’s usually in the same place, and it’s usually very close. So, yeah, I’m not really sure how he got the job.

Perfect time for Montero to give up a home run.

Whoa, reverse jinx.

Breaks my heart to learn that the Yankees gave up a 2-0 lead in the 9th.

Was Cole pitching?

German.

WOO!!

Top 9th

Pressly pitching

Conforto - F9.
Davis - singles up the middle.
Sabol - 4-6 FC. Davis out at 2nd. Sabol safe on 1st.
Villar - Ks looking.

Final - Giants 3 Astros 7.
