The Astros picked up Ort from Baltimore and immediately gave him the McHugh glow-up and it’s dead obvious from his pitch usage charts on Fangraphs. Last year he threw a four-seamer 70% of the time. Now that’s down around 40%, and that thirty percent has mostly gone into cutters and changeups. Seems to be working.
