You saying that he was good because of trash cans is ridiculous. Your “bang data” stats are even more ridiculous. Did Marwin cheat in 2019 for Minnesota where his stats were on par with any of his years in Houston? Obviously 2017 was a career year for him. He didn’t need a trash can to take Jansen deep in the most clutch situation a batter could face, though. Marwin is valuable because he can play basically anywhere in the field at a high level. I think if we count on anyone outside of Diaz in a backup role we could be disappointed too.
Not only are you a jerk, you don’t know the difference between correlation and causation. You continue to ignore data that doesn’t fit your narrative. 2019 was two years ago and isn’t relevant. That is not Marwin now any more than 2017 Marwin is today’s Marwin. The Red Sox who saw him everyday said they are a better team without him than with him. I make a lot of questionable decisions but there were some in 2020 I’m really happy having done. One was putting D.Ward on ignore.

I did not realize he should be ignored until recently in 2021. It is hilarious watching him always having to get the last word. He is incapable of keeping his mouth shut.
