Ex Astros 2026

Ryan Pressly retires

I didn’t have the gumption to start a proper new thread.

High Quality Astro

Remind me who we traded for him?

Jorge Alcala and Gilberto Celestino

If the Astros are fortunate enough to reach the postseason this year, Pressly should be offered the chance to throw the first pitch

I’ll miss him throwing the last pitch.

Dylan Coleman and CJ Stubbs signed minor league deals.

Its baffling to me how many former Astros and Astros farm hands have signed minor league deals in the past 2 months.

Hector Neris and Aaron Sanchez signed MiLB deals with the Royals.

Craig Kimbrell and Grae Kessinger with Mets

Trey Mancini with Angels

I will be pissed all season at Crane’s not bringing JV back to retire from Houston.

I’m right there with you. However unlikely the chances, I wanted him to get to 300 in Houston.

I wanted the Stros to give JV the half-season Clemens contract.

I think the chase for 300 is paramount for JV so half season, Clemens deal probably wasn’t in the cards.

He ain’t getting there this year so there’s always 2027.

I realize that but was hoping he would chase 300 the next 3-4 seasons with Astros and reach it with us. Two World Series championships, a CY and 300 wins might’ve been enough to put in the Hall with an Astros hat.

Brett Phillips announced today he will be working with the Rays as a ‘Brand Engagement Executive’. Good move to the Rays. Fans everywhere have loved Phillips.

He’s such a goofy fuck
