I keep trying…
I give up in a couple minutes.

Garneau…3-2…strikes out looking.
Fuck. Astros gag on their own cocks. 4-2
Dusty managed this like it was a Spring Training game.
The Astros hitters deserve every single bit of the shit that’s going to be said about them after these two games.
Fucking pathetic showing in a chance to shut the sign stealing narrative up.
Offense gave up long before that
22 innings, and they scratched out 4 runs.
Springer is hitting .048. Altuve .174. Bregman .174. Your top three.
And looked like bitches in the process. Rolled over and showed their bellies tonight.
I figured it would be over by then. I try to believe but they make it so hard.
I predicted this, that umps and even video review would flagrantly fuck over the Astros. I was ridiculed for this.
To be fair, replay has been screwing the Astros well before the cheating scandal.
And MLB is as interested in overturning transfer plays as the NFL is in overturning pass interference.
Don’t let rational thought get in the way of feeling persecuted. The Astros’ offense lost that game, not some malevolent force targeting Houston.
Fo sho.
Little League rules and they got just 1 run in extras.
Last night Dusty defended not bunting at all in extras with the “no, these guys aren’t paid to bunt” and “the other team didn’t bunt either”. I understand not having Altuve bunt in the 10th, they’d have walked Bregman, and you’d have taken the bat out of the hands of your #2 and #3 hitters. But not bunting Toro in the 11th, with runners at 1B and 2B and nobody out, with Straw and Springer due up, was just plain bad baseball
Bullshit, Dusty, but no team bunts. Ever. I watched it last year in AAA and discussed it each time I worked with Mike. No one bunts the runner over. Ever.
Man, it sure seems like it would be the thing to do if you’re the home team and only need the one run. Unless your batters are completely incapable of bunting, which I suppose could be the case nowadays.
No one past early LL is “incapable of bunting.”
The arrogance of the professional hitter on display, and Baker was one.
I hate that “aren’t paid to bunt”. They are paid to win! Did they do that last night? No.
Total bullshit. They are paid to play winning baseball.
