Hope you’re wrong. A “full” 60-game season would be a welcome distraction from the chaos leading up to Nov.
Fuck that. This season is a joke, it is injuring players, and it puts every one of them at risk of COVID. See Marlins, Miami. If you are so bored you need a distraction, read a book or watch movies on television. I cannot imagine being so self-absorbed you want these guys to play and risk their careers and lives so you’ll have the distraction YOU want.

Did the players not want to play? Most seem to want to play. The way MLB has handled coming back has been poor but they have every right to play and they also have the option of opting out.
Also if baseball isn’t played, baseball WILL die. It would not recover from a season not being played at all. It’s already going to get pretty rough even if they play the rest of this season. This will be the first time ever that the MLB postseason will have to compete on a nightly basis with another sports playoffs. The NBA playoffs won’t end until sometime in October. And that is bad bad news for baseball ratings.
