It’s almost as though missed opportunities and mistakes early in a game can come back to haunt you.

That’s crazy talk.

Have a great trip

Having Marwin at DH didn’t help. Why the fuck he ever plays for any reason other than his glove is mind boggling.

I leave you guys in charge for ONE game…

Gurriel leaving early hurt big time.

At least it gave us something new.

Between that and the run-allowing E3 Yuli will want to forget this one.

The E3 doesn’t bother me. Of course I wish it didn’t happen, but that was a physical error. Ball just scooted under his glove. It happens to the best of them. McCullers has to pick him up, not fold like a cheap suit. But the leaving the base early, and on a deep fly ball with no play at the plate…that’s a mental thing, and it cost them a runner on 3B with one out situation and a chance to take the lead in a game they lost in extras. Marwin struck out to end the inning, but McCormick led off the 7th with a base hit. Would he still have gotten a hit had he batted with two out and a runner at 3B in the 6th? We’ll never know, will we.

Mark and I agree!

Thanks!

The Marwin at DH lineup last night made zero sense. If he were a threat at the plate, he would still be in Boston.

Ran across the D-Backs version of Tucker’s “play,” starting around (0:26).

Another “appealing” standout was McCullers’ celebration of the OUT at the plate in the top of the 6th, keyed by Chas backing up the play and throwing to Correa!.

Real teamwork, despite the loss.
