COVID-19

Well, the electorate is getting younger and more diverse, in the eyes of old white men, every day. That much is certain.

I did read where 2020 would be the first where non-whites would make up 1/3 or more.

Well, I think he said he ā€œhopesā€ it disappears. And while hope is a pretty poor strategy, itā€™s the only one heā€™s espoused so far.

Trying to wish it away.

Itā€™s a race to the bottom.

If you have been doing your reading youā€™d know the Spanish Flu just mutated into a harmless variety after a while (after killing 50 million people).

Something very close to half of the 2016 House Republican caucus will not on the ballot this November, having either quit, retired, lost in 2018 or lost in a primary this year.

Unfortunately, none of this applies to Louis Gohmert or Matt ā€œPizzaā€ Gaetz. Or my Rep Dan ā€œBaby Trumpā€ Crenshaw.

Exposing older voters to COVID was a poor choice, too.

Heā€™s hoping youā€™ll just forget about it.

He did also say that wearing masks is good and that he wears one and that he thinks he looks good in it.

Itā€™s very little, far too late, but Iā€™ll take it.

Itā€™s also a recognition that his petty political divisiveness is also a casualty of COVID-19.

And it did it pretty quickly. It just sort of disappeared in about two weeks. Likewise, the Bubonic Plague disappearedā€¦after it killed 40% of the population.

I actually had hopes for Crenshaw. Turns out, heā€™s a fucking loon.

I donā€™t think heā€™s crazy; heā€™s just craven. He needs to hug Trump to keep those Kingwood voters happy lest those of us in Montrose vote him the fuck out.

Said it makes him look like the Lone Ranger.

That was fast.

He was joking. Come on canā€™t you tell with him?

A friend of mine lost the primary to Crenshaw. I had similar hopes as you, and itā€™s painful every time he opens his mouth.

Holy shit! Texas busts through the 8,000 new cases barrier in a big way.

heā€™s my neighbor.

So you could liveā€¦ well, anywhere in Houston, according to his district.

That makes him even more unlikeable.
