I’m more pissed by the fact he doesn’t understand to not throw a ball to a Longhorn with three Aggies around him.
“Send Manning in for the qb option” is not what I would have ever envisioned saying
87 rushing yards vs. -6 passing yards. If the passing game doesn’t open up soon then give Manning more reps.
Quit throwing the insipid WR screens. Go downfield. An incompletion is better than a 2-yard loss.
Ewers 4 for 7 for negative passing yardage. Manning enters the game and strolls in for a touchdown. That seems like a decent distillation of what the post injury situation has been.
His one downfield throw was on a busted play into double coverage.
