Are yall still good at basketball?
Apparently the targeting rule is just a giant shrug emoji, because ASU just committed super-targeting and got it overturned.
Let’s go Bobcats!
I’d like to think so.
That was a bullshit call.
Speaking of Sampson and UH landed a 5 star recruit today, chose UH over Gonzaga and Texas. Wish I was more excited about college football but UH is in a complete rebuild. Meanwhile Basketball rolls on.
The highest nationally ranked recruit they’ve ever signed. Number 12, I think Jarace Walker was 14.
I’ve built in a Ted Lasso storyline to this season so far. The first game, which we should have won, was a complete shitshow. The team came together the next week against a superior opponent* and, despite some ridiculously decisive bad calls by the refs, gave them a great fight but ultimately lost. Now, they will put it all together to reclaim the Bayou Bucket which Holgerson defiled.
Of course, OU might actually really suck and the Coogs could easily shit the bed on Saturday night. But it’s at least fun to think about.
I didn’t get to see much of the OU game, but saw Smith was 24/28. He looked brutal against UNLV, so that’s a real improvement. Long way of saying that your wish/hope seems plausible.
Smith is not good in spite of that gaudy completion percentage.
He still looked bad with that %? Who’s their #2?
Should be Ale but it is Chriss (who has been injured).
I wish they could work in Indiana Wijay for a few possessions. They need to see what they got with him in game action.
They should work him for name alone.
The Big XII’s native wildcats are holding their own against the invasive new species from Arizona. Kansas State 14 - Arizona 7 at the half. K. State’s QB made a mental error which cost his team a field goal attempt at the half.
Kansas State wins 31-7 over Arizona.
Well, fuck me, I bought the hype about the AZ QB-WR combo.
Had a bad feeling my alma mater was going to get rolled by the midwestern cats.
Ugh.
Yeah, Fifita disappointed last night. A decent run game would help though.
Haven’t seen all the B12 teams yet, but the Utes do like the class of the B12 from what I’ve seen so far. I’m assuming they at least make the title game, if Rising stays healthy.
History says this is unlikely.
