Me too and I fucking hate Notre Dame. Fuck Joe Theisman and Joe Montana.

He had a great second half going up until the fumble.

Anybody sick of The Good and the Bad and the Ugly rendition that the UT band has been offering for the last many games? It certainly thematically spells out tonight’s affair.

Ewers is wildly inconsistent but Sark does some mind bogglingly stupid shit that doesn’t help anyone. Their second half impotence is damning.

Anyway, see you guys tomorrow for the Texans game!

That toss play is going to piss me off for a long long time

It’s true that Ewers can’t simply will a RB into the end zone if the back’s running east west against a defense like OSU.

Not Ewers hate just common sense, if there’s ever a time to use Arch it’s first and goal from the fucking one or whatever it was. I mean, come on, man.

Ewers isn’t why Texas lost. Allowing a 75-yard screen pass touchdown with under 30 seconds left before halftime and calling HB toss from the one out of shotgun is. You can also add the Texas’ offensive line not being able to create push in short-yardage situations, and Cameron Williams blocking air on 4th and goal.

Both things are true. Having Arch in the goal line package adds a QB run element that Ewers doesn’t provide, and Ewers wasn’t the primary reason they lost.

I’ve been fighting off a cold or something the last couple of days, however, I’m going to forego the pleasantries of vermouth and bitters and simply mainline bourbon for a bit.

Fucking hell, this feels like an Astros playoff loss.

Oh well, The 5000 Fingers of Dr T on TCM is a palate cleansing pivot right now. It aids the Forget Chip.

I’m obviously no OL expert but I don’t have the slightest clue what evaluators see in him as a first round pick.

It’s clearly Ted Cruz’s fault.

The good news is Texas is going to be really good again next year, and looks like it should continue to be good going forward.

For all my bitching about some of Sarks shortcomings, he’s the right guy. He has restored Texas to what it should be, a team that competes for titles. Hopefully he’ll learn and grow from the mistakes.

Hook em :metal:

Texas is still pretty wonderful…Ted Cruz can still kiss my ass

In a season full of head scratching plays inside the 20, that pitch play will live in infamy.

It really is inexplicable

I really can’t even be mad…I’m just numb

This seems to fit with what we all saw:

This is a problem with football’s rules by the goal line. You are incentivizing defenses to repeatedly commit penalties with minimal punishment. If the ball is just going to continue to be placed at the one every time you hold or interfere with a receiver, why not do it?
