ETA: OU gets sacked on the attempt. They’re down to needing to recover an onsides kick and then a Hail Mary.

As an OU fan… I can tell you that he was being a whiny bitch because he wants to keep his job. He shouldn’t keep his job. Going for two was monumentally stupid in that scenario and speaks to the fact he’s relying on his predecessors swagger rather than what he has accomplished. This team sucks and should never go for two to avoid overtime.

The playcall was dreadful though.

I think the call was a delayed WB draw, but the Navy guys stayed in the middle and confused the freshman, resulting in the sack.

And I’m also in agreement about going for two. Going to OT is just hoping that your opponent will fuck up more (or sooner) than you do. It’s gutless; go for the win!

They were outmatched after they scored the first 14 and were lucky to even be in the game against a superior team. I would agree the play call was awful and likely led to me questioning the entire idea.

Regardless, I’m happy to forget about this entire season. I was surprised they were even bowl eligible at the end.
